Young Adults Out & About

Hey YA,

We are starting a new social group called Young Adults Out & About. This group, SRFCYA Out & About, will be part of our Life team; but it is strictly a social activity that you are invited to join. We have several monthly activities planned and as things come up we will send out messages. We will still have our 2 monthly Life Team Meetings that are centered around Bible Study and Fellowship. Our new SRFCYA Out & About is just for our Young Adults to be able to get out with other Young Adults and have a good time and trying new things! I’m so excited to roll out the new calendars and activities!

All Calendars are Subject to Change at any time, but we will always try to make sure changes happen far in advance.  If you notice Bible studies are in BLUE, Activities in GREEN, and Holiday Parties are RED! I will be posting more details!

30th 1:30 pm Historic Homes Tour

Meet @ Corner of Moreau Drive & Elmerine Ave at 1:30

The nostalgic neighborhood of Elmerine Avenue will open its doors to visitors on Sunday.

The 7th annual Homes Tour, sponsored by the Historic City of Jefferson, will feature seven Jefferson City homes from 1-5 p.m., with trolley service from the old and new Moreau Heights Elementary School parking lots.

The city Landmark at 1119 Moreau Drive is among the homes to be open for tours. The corner home was built in 1925 by Louis Ott for his son, Elmer — half namesake of the avenue with his sister Irene.

Discounted tickets are available through Friday for $12 at Samuel’s Tuxedo’s & Gifts and The Art Bazaar. Tickets purchased the day of the event are $15.
