 Young Adults Life Team

Welcome to the SRFC Young Adults Life Team! We are Young Adults, Singles, College Students, Young Married Couples… And anyone who feels “Young at Heart”!  It is our prayer that we help you realize that being a young adult is a unique time and opportunity to serve the Lord. Life is Journey full of wonderful surprises, challenges, tests and chances to grow and learn. So let the Young Adults Community give you a little bit of company and encouragement along the way. Come join us!

 

Our Vision: To take the Gospel to all Young Adults & to help them have a greater knowledge of Christ with encouragement and support of one another in the process of becoming “Like Jesus”.

 

Our Goal: To provide fun, exciting, and life-giving moments that Young Adults can connect to God, and to one another.

What Is A Life Team?

When a small group of people come together and make an agreement with each other to connect to God, build friendships and reach out to their community, a “Life Team” is formed.  Solid Rock Family Church Life Teams is a discipleship program.  Our Goal is to fulfill the Great Commission that our Lord Jesus Christ gave the church; to make disciples (Matthew 28: 18-20).  Our method of doing this is by following the New Testament  Church Model found in the book of Acts.

Acts 2: 42, 46 “All the believers devoted themselves to the apostles’ teaching, and to fellowship, and to sharing in meals (including the Lord’s Supper), and to prayer.  They worshiped together at the temple each day, met in homes for the Lord’s Supper, and shared their meals with great joy and generosity.”

What Does A Life Team Do?

A Life Team Meeting consists of fellowship, breaking bread together, prayer, Bible study and discussion.  Our Life Team curriculum is taken directly from our Senior Pastor’s speaking topics.  The Sunday message is broken down into further detail and shared with the Life Team in a home setting.  The Life Team Leader “unpacks” these powerful Bible truths and applies them in a more personal and authentic way.  The Bible study interactive discussion is exciting and opens our understanding in ways  we never knew possible, making Bible scriptures realistically applicable to our individual lives.

How Often Do Life Teams Meet?

Each group meets every other week (twice a month). The Young Adults meet every other Saturday at 6pm.

How Do I Get Connected?

To get connected to a Life Team, you’ll need to fill out the Life Team Signup Form. Our Life Team Pastors will find a Life Team with open space that fits your personality and family needs and someone will contact you with the details.
